ASME Certified Filter Housing
Micropure can manufacture ASME Certified Filter Housings for any of its filter elements. The Unit pictured below was built for a PDF-0606 with 1 inch Flange inlet & outlet. Unit also has ports for a drain and pressure gauge.
CRN Filter Housing
For Canadian applications over 15 psi, Micropure has housings certified with CRN numbers for every province. These housings can be made for Sterile Air and Steam Filtering Applications. This housing was built for a PSF-0606 with 1 inch Flange inlet & outlet. Unit also has ports for a drain and pressure gauge.
Inline Filter Housing
Inline Filter Housing are designed for optimal combination of low hold-up volume and minimal pressure drop. Inline housings provide an option with T-Style filter housings are not a practical solution. Micropure can design and build inline housing with any number of gauge/sampling ports in addition to the inlet and outlet. The below unit is PSF-602 Sterile Air Filter. Unit has 1.5 inch Tri-Clamp connections with no sampling or drainage ports.
Sanitary Designs
PDF-602 Steam Filter. Filter housing meets sanitary design requirements. Unit has ¾” inlet and outlet along with a ¾” drainage port. Unit has Tri-Clamp closure for maintenance ease and cleaning capabilities.
Steam Jacketing Option
PSF-0808 Sterile Air Filter with Steam Jacketing Option. Jacketing option allowed the customer to supply steam to housing and keep the air supply at a specific temperature while going through the filter.
Multi-Element Vessels
Multi-Unit Vessel for a Micropure Filtration PDF-1448. High Flow applications are no problems for Micropure’s Multi-round vessel. Micropure can design and manufacturer custom vessels for 3-11 elements in any height. This unit was built with 8 inch flange inlet and outlet along with a baffle plate to improve condensate knockout and element life. Unit was built with both ½ inch Drainage port and sampling port.
Unique Porting and Configurations
Unique Housing build for a PDF-1406 Steam Filter. Unit has 2 inch butt weld connections with 90° inlet to outlet turn to allow housing to fit in a tight space. Unit also has modified Drainage ports to fit piping system. Housing top was also modified to all for connection with a sanitary pressure gauge.
